HOW TO MAKE LINOLEUM ARTWORKS

First you start with drawings then these drawings are transferred in reverse onto a thick
piece of linoleum.The "white" sections from the sketches are cut away in a variety of effects,
being achieved using different types of engraving tools. The carved surface is inked with an oil
based printing ink, using a roller, and then the paper must be meticulously placed on the inked
linoleum. In order to obtain a quality print it is important to use a press and a special thin paper.
After the ink dries (two days), you can use watercolors and other techniques and the print
becomes an original. Papers and colours used are of the highest quality.

LIMITED EDITION

The artworks presented within this site are produced in a limited edition.
On the backside of each linocut there is a number which tells how many works
have been made and the number within the edition of this particular print.
A very limited number are produced as artist's proofs.
